Astronaut Shubhinhu Shukla will hold talks with students and scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Friday.
Shukla, along with three other astronauts, is part of the Axiom-4 space mission, a 14-day scientific campaign for the International Space Station.
Friday’s conversation will be held through Ham Radio, in which a telebridge will be set up at Ur Rao Satellite Center in Bangalore, the news agency PTI quoted Amateur Radio on International Space Station (ARISS) as saying.
Ham radio is a non-commercial radio-communication service that is considered reliable during disasters, when traditional methods of communication are not accessible.
The interaction will be conducted under the ARIS program, which facilitates radio communication opportunities between school students and astronauts at ISS.
