An investigation has been initiated after a light aircraft crashed in a ground in Staffordshire.
A passerby on Friday saw a broken wing and tail assembly in a ground near Stone, near Stone, and informed the police.
A spokesperson of the Air Accidents Investigation Branch said: “An accident related to a light aircraft was informed to Aaib on 8 August.
“An investigation has been initiated, and we have started inquiring.”
A police spokesperson said that the officers were called to Marsh Marsh, Kotts Heath found on 13:00 BST on Friday, after the report of light aircraft in one area.
The aircraft had to make an emergency landing, he said, and there was no injury.
He said that the authorities had talked to the zamindar about the removal of the aircraft.
