Iran’s President Masaud Pesesian was injured during one of the Israel attacks on Iran, two American intelligence sources confirmed CBS News.
Sources told CBS News that reports in the media operated by the Iranian state are accurate that the Pesashkian was attending a Supreme National Security Council meeting when the Israeli strike took place. The state media report stated that he maintained the run -of -the -mill injuries while running through an emergency shaft.
It is not clear whether he was deliberately targeted.
During an interview with Tucker Carlson earlier this month, Peseshkian claimed that Israel tried to bomb her by bombing an area in which he was attending a meeting.
Asked if they feel that Israel tried to kill him, Pezeshakian replied, “They tried, yes. And they acted accordingly, but they remained unsuccessful.”
“It was not the United States that was behind my life’s effort. It was Israel. I was in a meeting. We were discussing ways to move forward. But who have been given to them by the detectives, they tried to bomb the area … in which we were holding the meeting,” he said in an interview, which was translated from Persian.
Perekians did not specify the exact date of the strike.
The White House has not commented on the report, nor is the Israeli government. An Iranian government official refused to comment.
The 12-day struggle between Israel and Iran killed hundreds and 28 in Israel in Iran. Both Israel and Iran claimed victory by the Trump administration after the ceasefire.
Some Iran’s commanders were killed in a struggle, including the head of the revolutionary guard, General Hosain salute, and head of the guard ballistic missile program, General Amir Ali Hazizadeh.
The US also carried out air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities during the conflict.
