Many users have taken a new wave of memes after claiming that they were able to reach the Ticketkok website in India, even though the app itself remains unavailable on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has denied these claims. Social media platforms were burnt with Vitty as users expressed surprise, apathy and humor over unexpected development.

As Update By NDTV benefits, the Department of Telecommunications confirmed that at present, the Tiktok website is blocked on all internet service providers across India.
So far, there has been no official confirmation or response from any change in the availability of platforms in India, the original company of Tikokkok, bidence.
On X, the reactions were from fickle to lump sum. One user quipped, “The Tiktok website is back to India after 5 years, but the app is still unavailable. Material manufacturer will make me happy.” In another joke, “The last time Tiktok was in India, we had only filters. Now? AI will be influenced.” A indifferent comment read, “Welcome Tiktok, Long Time No C,” while another said, “Tiktok’s virus is India Pisces Vapus Aa Raha.”

In June 2020, the exit of Tikok from India marked one of the most high-profile apps banned by the government. It was part of a large crack in which the Center banned 59 mobile applications, which was a decision raised after a deadly conflict with Chinese forces in Galwan that claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers. At that time, Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad announced the move, describing it as a “digital strike” against China.
