RootsFormer Labor Party leader and independent MP Jeremy Corbin has started a new political party.
Corbin has issued a joint statement with Zara Sultana, who recently left labor to become an independent, saying: “This is the time for a new type of political party – one that is for you”.
The pair is encouraging people to sign up what they are saying to your party, to build a new kind of political party – one who belongs to all of us “.
Labeling the current political system as “rigging”, they are inviting supporters to the inaugural conference “to be part of the founding process”.
