Jammu: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (SIA) has filed its first charge sheet in the case of a narco-attitude related to the seizure of 46 kg of heroin in Jammu and Punjab in August last year, highlighting the role of Pakistan-based terrorist outfit-E-Tabi in India.A spokesperson of Sia told reporters in Jammu on Sunday, “The case arises from the arrest of Sartaj Singh, a resident of Taran Taran district in Punjab, as well as the seizure of over 33.5 kg of heroin from the bus stand area in Jammu, on the basis of accurate intelligence information on 9 August last year,” Siya’s spokesperson told reporters on Sunday.In the investigation, another accused, Amritpal Singh alias Fauji was identified and arrest, who initially ran away from the scene with another consignment, but was later arrested by the Punjab Police, which led to an additional 12.6 kg of heroin recovery.The spokesman said the investigators discovered the critical evidence connecting Amritpal to a Pakistani handler, which was associated with Lashkar-e-Tabiba.Both the accused have been booked under the NDPS Act and UAPA.
