Scottish actress Karen Gilon has confirmed that she is acting in the remake of the 80s Panth film Highlander with Henry Cavil.
The 37-year-old former doctor Hu Star, who grew up in Invertus, posted on Instagram that “my dialect coaches can exclude this one”.
“So excited to become a real highlander in ‘Highlander’, he said.
Gilon will play the role of the wife of Connor McLeod – who was played by former Superman actor Cavil – The Love of Hiz Life, which she still meets a young man.
The original 1986 film chronic the climax of an old war among the 1986 film immortal warriors.
It starred French Christopher Lambert as a highlander, in which Sir Scene Conary played the role of his Guru Ramirez – an Egypt that was located in Spain.
Filming on the reboot will begin in Scotland in September.
Gilon, who lives in Los Angeles with her American husband, told the BBC this week that she wants to work more often in her country.
“I have more likely to work in films in Scotland,” she said.
“I am always looking for the reasons for coming to Scotland.”
She said that her daughter Clementine, who was born in December last year, would soon travel with her when she would return to innovation.
“My next job is going to be in Scotland, so she must be looking at it soon,” Gilon said.
“I can take him to the Eden Court Theater – and I want to take him to pantomime in innovation – this is my biggest dream.”

Gilon’s latest film – Life of Chak – was filmed before giving birth in December.
It is based on the 2020 novel Raja Raja’s 2020 novels by Stephen King and Stars Tom Hidleston and Chivatel Egiofore, with Gilon and Star Wars actor Mark Hamil.
This plot follows the life of Charles “Chak” Krantiz, but begins with his death, which coincides with the end of the universe, and works back to his childhood.
‘Life-confirmation’
Gilon, who starred in box office hits like Guardian of the Galaxy and Jumanji, says that most people will expect from Stephen King Project.
“I thought it would be some horror epic and it’s not just that – it’s quite opposite,” he said.
“I will describe it as a life-reference film and a search for life and how to really live in the way you want.”
He said: “It actually checks you how you are spending your time, which I definitely do when I was preparing for it, I definitely do it.”
Gilon’s character Fetia is a nurse who knows that the universe is ending.
“I asked myself, ‘What would really be like this?”, He said.
“I came to the conclusion that we get so many things in life – praise and money -like things – all that will go away and at the end of the day it is about being with people you love and who loves you – this is what life is really about everyone.”
When he participated in the Hollywood premiere of Chak’s life in June, it was his first red carpet event after the daughter’s birth at the end of last year.
“I just feel completely different,” the star said.
“My whole perspective has moved. I think my main objective in life is to protect this child at all costs – and then acting on the side.”
Gilon, who married comedian Nick Kochhar, says she is not really sure how it will work on a child’s set during the long time of filming.
But he said: “I have to find out because I refuse to separate with him.”
So, in addition to the highlander reboot, what is there for Gilon?
She says that she would like to direct a horror film or perhaps an one-woman theater show.
“This is something that I have not out of fear – some kind of live production,” he said.
“I have faced fear. It’s time. Every year I go to the fringe, I come out saying that I am going to do a show next year and it never comes.
“But perhaps next year. I could roam with one of these experimental pranks and they could let me stay in their shows.”
And what would he have to do to return to the role of a doctor and Amy Pond where he made his name?
“This will take Matt Smith and Arthur Darville to live with me and is about it,” he said.
“If they were there, I would have done this. I had the best time for my life in that TV show.
“I can’t believe that I was 21 years old and got to run with my two best colleagues – it was such a good time.”
