The Las Vegas Aces Star Kelsey Plum addressed the controversial comments made about Cateline Clarke’s all-star team last month, stating that she was doing a “joking”.
After the WNBA all-star game, where many players wore T-shirts, who read, “Pay us what you do”. In the context of the players’ union’s CBA talks with the league, Plum told reporters that the players of Clarke’s All-Star team were not in a meeting to discuss shirts.

Plum said, “But T-shirts, just, United Front, were scheduled this morning, that we had a meeting. And, you know, not for the tattlet, but the team of Team Clarke was very much present for it,” Plum said.
The comments ignited the harsh backlash against the plum, as many fans reported that Clarke himself wore a T-shirt during the game.
Now, the plum is emphasizing that his comment was not serious, and was the morning of a clear meeting, stating that many players were “hung”.
During an episode of WNBA legend, Plum said, “I made a bad joke. I made a very bad joke, a difficult,” Suu Birds Podcast “Birds I View.”

Plum also said that he “should have known that it was a horrific moment in a way.”
Plum said, “I should be like 2020 because of the shirt, because because of fans, I should know that it was a kind of serious moment compared to a specific all-star game.”
“Because I like very much in that press conference, happy and lucky, we won. And then there was a great weekend, like my family, it was just a great time. And so the question came, and it was like CBA, it was like CBA, it, it, this, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, and I was honestly, and I was honestly, ‘Hey-like team Clarke, like they were not in the meeting …”
The weekend was in this protest as the players criticized WNBA officials amid dialogue.

WNBA Commissioner Kathy Engelbert told reporters that he believes that a deal would be found before the current CBA ends after this season.
“I am still really optimistic that we will be able to do something that would be transformative,” he said. “And, next year in All-Star, we will talk about how great everything is. Obviously, it is to be very hard to reach there to reach there.”
