New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda on Tuesday made fun of the Leader of the Opposition by Rahul Gandhi’s “Vote Churi” claim as he rebuilt a video on X, which called it a “scripted PR”.The video featured a snipet from Rahul’s ongoing ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, where a woman complained about the names of her six family members, which were removed from the EC’s Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) draft role. Later in the video, the woman claims that she was asked to make those claims in the journey.“Rahul Gandhi’s vote theft is turning into a PR disaster. First, the EC gave him a 7-day ultimatum with all the facts. Now, people are exposing him to the left and right:” It was a scripted PR, we said, but our names are in the list of voters “is getting another apology from Rahul,” said the video caption.Earlier in the day, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya targeted Rahul, when Sunitavali Sanjay Kumar apologized for sharing the wrong voter data related to Maharashtra elections.“A very institution whose data Rahul Gandhi has bowed to discredit the voters of Maharashtra, has now admitted that its figures were wrong – not only on Maharashtra, but also on the head. It also leaves Rahul Gandhi and Congress, which targets the Election Commission and is as real voters as a fakir.”He said, “Rahul Gandhi should immediately abandon his” stained feast “in Bihar and the people of India should redress an unconditional apology for their calls and retrograde politics,” he said. The ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ left Sasram on Sunday, marking the 16-day campaign against the Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) of the Election Commission of the voter list in Bihar and identified allegations of “vote theft”. Counting a distance of more than 1,300 km in more than 20 districts, March 1 will end in Patna on 1 September.
