Lava has launched another budget-friendly device in India, lava play Ultra 5G, which marks the next joint of its play series after Blaze Amoled 2. With this launch, the company aims to target gaming enthusiasts by offering processing power, performance quality and software support at a cheaper price. Lava Play Ultra 5G Mobile: Specifications and Facilities
Lava Play Ultra 5G has a 6.67 -inch flat AMOLED screen with full HD+ resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach the peak shine of up to 1000 notes, which can present a clear view in various light conditions. For photography, the device includes a dual rear camera setup that includes 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor and 5MP macro lens with optical image stabilization. It also has a 13MP camera on the front for selfie and video calls. The camera system supports many photography mode like night, HDR, pro video, dual view video, macro, panorama, slow motion and time laps.
Under the hood, lava play ultra 5G is operated by MediaTek Demensity 7300 chipset built on 4Nm architecture and uses Mali-G615 MC2 GPU for graphics. MediaTek Hyperengine adapt the performance to gaming, provides 20 percent more frame rate and smooth view, while managing power consumption during extended sessions, the company claims.

The device comes in two RAM configurations, 6GBs and 8GB LPDDR4X, both are paired with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Users can also expand up to 1TB of storage via microSD card, and add virtual RAM additional 8GB if necessary. The handset runs on Android 15 and is confirmed to receive two major OS upgrade with a three-year security update, with no pre-installed blotware.
In addition, Lava played 5000mAh battery in Ultra 5G with 33W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and several GPS systems. Additionally, it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speaker, USB Type-C audio support and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Lava Play Ultra 5G priced at Rs. 14,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants, and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage models are priced at Rs. 16,499 respectively. It comes in two color options: Arctic Frost and Arctic slate. The device will be available to buy on amazon.in. It starts from 25 August.
