Linda Yakarino, owner of Elon Musk’s social media site X, has announced that she is leaving the post after two years.
His departure comes at the time of the tumor for the forum, which was taken by Musk’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) venture in March, and has been in the news for its AI Chatbot, Grocke, for the antisemitic posts chopped by Groke.

The BBC has approached X for comment. It is not clear what the decision decided, or whether there is any break in the relationship between the two leaders.
Ms. Yacarino was previously prominent to advertising in NBCUNIVERSAL, where she was credited to help it run through the upheaval caused by technology firms.
When Musk brought her to lead the X, in Twitter, in 2023, analysts hoped that her focus would be to repair the relationship with the advertisers, who left the site amidst concerns about their advertisements appearing with controversial content.
But the scope of Ms. Yakarino in the company was limited from the beginning, many observers referred to her only as the chief executive in the name.

Advertisement Turnaround?

Ms. Yarcarino’s exit comes at a difficult time for Musk, working with a falling sales in her carmaker Tesla, which has also seen the departure of several top officials.
