The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a 35 -year -old man when two of his minor step daughters accused him of sexual harassment. Both minor sisters said that they were attacked by stepfather for several months and the mother did not pay any attention to their complaints, after which both of them dialed the helpline number of the UP police.
The incident took place in Gomtinagar, Lucknow and the police took the accused into custody. The sisters, aged 12 and 14, made a crisis call for 1090 on Friday and alleged that the accused raped her for several months, told by the Times of India.
Following his complaint, the Gomtinagar police registered a case based on their allegations, and detained the 35 -year -old accused.
The sisters called a crisis number on the helpline number on Friday morning, told the team that they had managed to escape from their house. He said that his stepfather raped him for several months, and often defeated him if he protested.
The sisters said that their stepfather often comes home drunk and sexually abusing them, saying that when he informed his mother about abuse, he dismissed his claims and asked him to remain silent.
The helpline team informed the Gomtinagar police about the complaint of the sisters, after which action was taken against the accused. According to the Times of India.
The accused was arrested for killing his father, sisters told the police
The police registered a case against the stepfather in rape charges and under other relevant sections on the basis of the complaint of the girls.
The Times of India report said that the sisters also informed the police that the accused was arrested for killing his biological father, who was killed ten years ago.
However, he was later released, and started living with the girls’ mother and married her. The sisters told the police that they did not like their stepfather, given that he was arrested for killing his father. During interrogation, the accused denied the allegations, while claiming that he was being implicated.
