Steve Parish, president of the Crystal Palace, says the club will sell Captain Mark Gahi to avoid losing free at the end of his contract in this summer.
Eagles rejected proposals for Defender Gahi from Newcastle United in January – the last of which was £ 65M – in the hope that the defender would sign a new deal in South -West London.
But England International has now entered Selharst Park in the last 12 months of its deal, and does not appear close to extending its contract.
It is said that Gudhi is open to remain with the club by 2026, the point at which it can leave on a free transfer.
But Parish says that the club would unwavering to redeem the dhikhi in this summer.
“We have to do this, of course,” said Parish.
“To leave on a free for that caliber players, it is unfortunately a problem for us.
“Jochim [Andersen] Went [to Fulham last summer] And we could not take the risk of losing both.
“Then we put another bid [for Guehi] In January but it was a different situation.
“We just have to see what happens. But, you know, it requires a new contract or some kind of conclusion.”
Liverpool maintained interest in wheat, but it remains to be seen whether the side of the Arne slot will spend heavily on a player which they can get for free in 2026.
