Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Monday told the Parliament panel in foreign affairs that India would not be able to stop defense deals with the United States and underlined that the two countries have multi-dimensional relations, of which trade is a small part.
Government officials indicated to the panel that the purchase of Russian oil would continue and President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming India visit or any possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for China is part of any calibration, but pre -planned attachments.
In the first government briefing to a parliamentary panel after imposing 50% tariffs on the US, Commerce Secretary Sunil Bartwal informed the panel that the sixth round of trade talks between India and the US has been set and the US has not stopped the discussions in New Delhi.

“As soon as agreements apply, preparations are underway to take advantage of opportunities under new FTA participation like UK. Similarly, efforts are being intensified to end the efforts rapidly, such as with the European Union, mutually beneficial and balanced business principles, based on the meeting,” said a work participating in the meeting.
Misri responded to a lot of questions from members who asked him about statements against India at an event in the US, Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir and inspired Trump to impose additional tariffs on India.
