The Minnesota Mechanic, who works on the 2015 Ford Edge, discovered a wallet under the hood, in which Michigan Ford Assembly plant worker was lost 11 years ago.
Chad Volc, who carries out the LC car care in Lake Crystal, Minnesota, was under the hood in place of cooling fans of the vehicle and when he discovered, the airbox was evicted, he told the car 11.
When the airbox would not fit when he tried to keep it back in place, Volk had to investigate the problem.
“And here was the wallet,” Volk told Car 11.

He said, “I had to go through this wallet and go.”
Volk then discovered through a leather wallet and found the Ford Motor Company Employees ID.
“I was surprised. You find the goods all the time, usually the equipment,” Volk told the Detroit Free Press. “I looked through it, and I see a Ford motor company badge. I thought,” I am going to try to see this man if I can take it back. “
He then used Facebook to find retired autovorr Richard Gilford, who recalled the moment he learned that his wallet was located.
“is this your wallet?” Volk asked.
“What I had said the first thing was, ‘Did you find it in a car?” Gilford told the outlet.
Gilford, who manufactured Ford in Michigan, was fixing electrical issues in the Ford edges, the day he lost his wallet around Christmas in 2014.
“I never wore sweatpants to work, but I did that day,” Gilford said. “And there was my wallet in my shirt’s pocket.”
As soon as Gilford bent on the car, the wallet must have slipped from his pocket and in the vehicle.

Around 2 o’clock, he turned to a colleague and told him that he had lost his wallet.
Many colleagues then helped Gilford search for his wallet.
“You know, there [were] 2,000 cars from there, and we didn’t get it, “he said.
Although he specifically knew which cars he worked during that shift, Gilford says it did not even happen to look under the airbox.

The Ford vehicle traveled to a dealership in Arizona before going towards Lake Crystal, where a wallet was found by Volk after more than 150,000 miles on the road.
After exchanging Facebook messages, Volk reconciled the wallet at Gilford’s house in Petersburg, Michigan.
“And nothing is wrong with money,” Gilford said, who found $ 15 cash in the wallet.
“This is a well -traveled currency,” he said.
In addition to cash and long -discovered lottery tickets, Cabella’s gift cards at the wallet were $ 250, they planned to use Christmas gifts for their children 11 years ago.

Gilford said he examined with Cabella and said that the gift card could still be used.
A few days after the wallet was found, both people spoke in a video chat.
According to Care 11, Guilford told Volk, “I would never have been in one million years.”
Chad replied that he was “starting digging more often through cars, I think, in the engine bay, and see if I could find something.”
