France has allegedly snatched the residency permit of a person who burnt cigarettes at a war memorial in Paris after being caught on camera.
Internal Minister Bruno Retillu on Tuesday called a 47 -year -old Morocco man “indecent and pathetic” actions after his arrest. His video footage expressed displeasure after lighting a cigarette under a very visited Arch de Triumph and broadcast it.
“The person who burnt cigarettes with a memorial flame and provoked the tomb of an unknown soldier, was arrested in Paris in memory of the dead in memory of the site, mausoleum, kalash, or monument.

On Wednesday, the French internal ministry announced that the unknown person was snatched from his residency permit, he said by Politico.
The unknown Soldier War Memorial has a flame and a tomb of a soldier killed in the First World War, under an arch of the Arc de Triumph.

Footage of the incident suggests that a man is shown kneeling next to the monument, which seems to be far from the border for visitors. He is seen bending on a memorial flame to illuminate his cigarette immediately before leaving, as shocked tourists see.
According to local reports, the person allegedly has a legal status in France and was known to the police.
Deputy Minister of Memory and Veterans Affairs, Petricia Miralase, said that she was “angry” with what had happened.

“Walking on the tomb of unknown soldier. Raising your cigarette with eternal flame. It’s not just one wrong: it’s an abusive,” he wrote on X. “France will never tolerate the artistic of the memory of those who died for him. Never.”
