A leading Scottish conservative MSP has left the party with immediate effect.
Jeremy Balfor, who was the spokesperson of Tory on social justice, said he would sit as an independent until Holiroad elections in May.
In a resignation letter viewed by BBC Scotland News, Lothanians MSP expressed concern that the party led by Russell Findle “had fallen into the trap of reactionary politics”.
He is the second MSP to leave the party as Tories lost power in Westminster and became a findle Scottish leader.
“I don’t think now the party has a positive platform to offer Scotland people,” said Balfor.
“Fast, decisions are made by advisors who lack experience, while senior MSP colleagues are ignored.”
‘Chasing cheap headlines’
Findle has promised to cut tax and spending in 2026 Holiroad elections, he said that he would say “Leave a clemor” At the wasteful expenses on being selected.
Balfor said he did not believe that the party was interested in dealing with welfare reforms “beyond the blind slashing of the budget” which he said “would put those people at the most risk”.
The MSP also accused the party of focusing on rural areas “at the cost of our cities”.
He said: “I am afraid that Scottish conservative reactionary has fallen into the web of politics, where a positive, active agenda for real changes has been rejected in favor of allowing the policies to decide the policies as to what other parties are saying and chasing cheap headlines.”
Balfor said he felt that he had “no alternative”, but to cut relations with the party, he “once represented”, “but unfortunately he could take some rigorous election results to force the issue.”
The MSP was first selected in the Lothian regional list in 2016.
He has several stents as a conservative deputy spokesperson, including equality, housing and welfare.
However, Balfor remains on the backbench as Findlay became the party leader in September last year.
He supported former Deputy Leader Meghan Galachar in the leadership competition.
Before being selected to Holiroad, Balfor worked as a Solicitor and Baptist Minister.
Born with a left hand and a right hand that ends on the elbow has been a vocal proposer for handicapped rights.

The resignation of the Balfor leaves Scottish conservatives with 29 MSP.
It comes after the west of Scotland MSP Jamie Green blamed Liberal Democrats from Toryse.
He accused his former party of becoming “Trump-Esk in both style and substance”.
The conservatives have also seen faults for improvement of many councilors, with the elections, Nigel Faraj’s party has been suggested that the election success may be found in the next year’s Holiroad elections.

The challenge with political rights has influenced how Russell Findle is giving his party a place.
He has given priority to cutting whatever he has considered to reduce infection in useless public spending and pure zero carbon emissions.
What he has not carried with him takes all his Holiroad colleagues with him and he loses some rights in losing the MSP.
