A shocking video of a young man who assaulted his father in front of his mother on a “family case” in Nagpur city has surfaced on social media, inspiring the police to warn and consult the person.
However, no complaint was lodged by the victim, the police discovered the person of Shanti Nagar, as the video went viral on Monday, the officials said.
The footage suggests that the elderly person is sitting on a couch, while his son repeatedly slaps him, draws his hair and holds him from the neck. The man’s mother is seen sitting nearby.
Shanti Nagar police discovered the house where the incident took place and met the victim, who claimed that such an incident has never happened before and refused to file a complaint.
The mother told the police that this was a “family case” and questioned her visit.
However, police officials strictly warned the son and advised him, violence against parents will not be tolerated.
