New Delhi: Against a vacancy from 371 judges in the High Courts, HC Collegium has not made any recommendation for 193 posts, which is more than 52% of the total vacancy, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Thursday responded to a question in the Rajya Sabha and said that SC Collegium recommendations for high courts for recommendations. He was answering a question raised by the Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikrajun Kharge, who asked the minister to provide details of the recommendations made by the SC Collectorate who are pending and the period of such pendency. This question was recently in terms of SC comments about the need to clean its recommendations for the government.
