Sen Thom tilisPresident Donald Trump is planning to retire from the Senate at the end of his tenure, one of the two Republicans who voted against Trump’s “big, beautiful bills” forward.
The Northern Carolina Republican announced on Sunday that he would not seek reunion in the 2026 cycle. Tilis was one of the weakest Republicans to last next year, and on Saturday night faced the dangers from Trump to find a challenger after his vote against the President’s agenda.
