A Congress MLA in Telangana on Friday swipe on his government’s alleged inaction in cleaning the pending bills for development works.
As NDTV ReportMLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said without the name of Revanath Reddy, these approval requires the Chief Minister’s approval. He was speaking during an event to celebrate Independence Day in his constituency Munugod.
“You take a post, but do you also take money? Take posts, but pay the contractors who have worked. Do not do injustice for the people of Munugod,” said Komatddy Reddy.
Further clarifying that he is neither criticizing the Chief Minister or his party, Comatidid Reddy alleged that “not a single rupee has been released for roads or buildings”.
“The contractor refused to continue work on the Weligonda-Chutuppal Road Project as the bills have not been approved. These approval requires the Chief Minister’s approval. That is why I have raised this concern directly for him. I am not criticizing the Chief Minister or the party … I have not been issued a single rupee for the roads or buildings,” NDTV told him.
“Even after repeated requests and several attempts to contact ministers, there has been no response. Shouldn’t I question whether the posts and funds are being monopolized?” He said.
According to the report, the MLA has recently talked against the state leadership, but this time, his comment to target Revanath Reddy has created anxiety among Congress leaders.
The NDTV report further stated that the state disciplinary action committee of the Congress has noticed the comments of Rkomatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and its president Mallu Ravi, there is a possibility of meeting him.
Revanth Reddy’s swipe
Earlier this week, Telangana Chief Minister Revantha Reddy took an indirect swipe in Rajagopal Reddy, according to NDTV.
The Chief Minister said, “In politics, out of ten people who want to sit on the same chair, nine will be disappointed. Whether they are from a family, caste, region, or individuals … if you show disappointment … it can harm you, us, state and nation,” the Chief Minister said.
