Dr. The second day of the James Craig’s murder trial was on significant testimony from the office manager at his Sunnybook Dental Group Practice in Arora, Colorado, who said Craig rejected his wife Angela’s first alleged poisoning attempt.
Ketleen Romero worked at the dentist’s office in 2023 and during the period for several days with Craig, during which he killed his wife with cyanide and tetrahydrozolin, a chemical in idrops, with a chemical in his protein shake.
He told Assistant District Attorney Ryan Brackley and the court that, on March 6 of that year, Craig abnatually entered the office and told him that he and his wife had worked earlier in the morning. He apologized for late and said that Romero Angela did not feel well after making a post-workout protein shake.

Recalling the conversation, Romero testified that Craig said, “Maybe he added too much protein to his wife’s shake”.
He said that Craig later left the office to take his wife to an emergency room that day, where Angela reported to be dizzy. She read her husband that she felt a “drug” before going to the hospital. He was released on the same day without diagnosis.
Craig returned to the office at 5:30 pm, which was unusual. The practice stops at 4 pm
When she left for the day, Romero said that she was shocked to use Craig in the dark, to use the computer in an examination hall, which was not her normal computer. When he asked what he was doing, Craig told him that he came back to office to rest after a stressful day to deal with his wife’s illness.
After exiting Romero’s office that day, he said that Craig recited him to alert him that an individual package would be taken to the office and did not ask him to open it. This had never happened before, Romero said.

On 9 March, Angela returned to the hospital three days ago, demonstrating similar symptoms. This time, he was admitted and remained in the hospital till 14 March.
Romero testified that, on that day, Craig told him that he would not think Angela would live through the night, which Romero said that the second time he had predicted after experiencing Angela’s symptoms.
“Proof that Craig had predicted twice before predicting his wife’s death, may be important in his criminal case to prove his alleged intentions in his case,” Kelly Hyiman, A national level renowned defense lawyer and legal analyst told Fox News Digital. Hymen is not included in TR
“Intention in murder cases refers to the mental state of the accused at the time of crime. First-degree murder may require evidence of pre-determination and specific intentions to kill in a criminal case.
“Death predictions may suggest that the Craig was allegedly considering the Act for a period and planning, possibly for the ‘continuous period’, which could be prefabricated.”
Raksha chose not to challenge these statements made by Romero, but Hyman said it could happen.

The small -town dentist allegedly faced a test to poison the wife’s protein shake.
“However, defense would challenge the acceptance and interpretation of such statements and argue that Craig’s wife was suicidal,” Hyman said. “In addition, defense may argue that the statements were excluded from the context and/or misinterpreted.”
On 13 March, the package arrived in the practice of Craig. A staff member opened the package before bringing it to Romero, which described the box content as a seal “foil package” and a paper challan. The box was marked as a biohazard. He checked the challan to ensure that it was a personal package that Craig had discussed with her and saw that it was. On the invoice, he read that Craig had ordered potassium cyanide, which he immediately excluded from curiosity.
On 15 March, Angela was admitted to the hospital for the last time.
Craig was in the office that day and told Romero that he had to leave as Angela was returning to the hospital.
Romero testified that as doubt increased, he then hummed the symptoms of cyanide poisoning.

The murder of the colorado dentist was tested after the defense before the jury selection.
During the cross-examination, the lead defense attorney Lisa Fine Moses pointed to the fact that when Romero received the package and read that it had potassium cyanide, she could not ensure that she did not open the seal foil package.
He also asked Romero about his evening office conversation with Craig on 6 March, and Romero admitted that, emotionally, Craig looked normal during that time.
Moses examined Romero’s relationship with Craig, which Romero described as a “intimate emotional relationship”. She established that the pair was close and often talked about personal and family matters on personal devices and through unrelated channels.
Moses also established that, during an investigation into the alleged crime, when Romero spoke to the police, he did not disclose the real nature of his relationship or all the communications between them.

The importance of calling an important witness like Romero as a witness in the trial was not lost on hymen.
“The prosecutor would like to start strong and strong as witnesses,” she said. “The prosecutor may want to start the case with the most important witness. For example, Star Witness, or someone who is starting to tell the story of the case as the case of the case from beginning to end.”
