A police officer is facing a criminal investigation to allegedly share the violence of CCTV footage between officers and two people at Manchester Airport.
In July last year, wide footage of disturbances was shared on social media, including Mohammad Fahir Amaz last week. Found guilty Liverpool Crown Court to attack two women police officers.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) confirmed that more and more Manchester police officers were being investigated, without any valid policing purpose, without suspicion of sharing a video related to an active police investigation without any valid policing.
The Watchdog said an investigation was on and it would look for its own account of incidents “in the appointed time”.
He said that the officer was informed that he was being investigated on suspicion of getting corrupt or other unfair practice of police powers and privileges and illegal of personal data.
He will be questioned about two crimes under the Computer Mission Act 1990, completing the syllabus of misconduct and justice in a public office
