Officials say a girl was bitten by a hill lion in Malibu on Sunday night.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, after learning about the incident, at around 5:45 pm, the 32500 block was sent to the Pacific Coast Highway.
The leading circumstances for the attack remain unclear, but the depot said that the girl’s family later took her to a nearby hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
According to LASD, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife took over.
There is no word on where the lion of the mountain went after the attack.
