Imagine showing your weekly ice hockey game to play with some of your friends and local talent, but two best players in NHL are ready to face face to face against you.
The Stars of Admonton Olers, Connor McDavid and Leon Drassital Beer League game last Wednesday, had a lot of ringers at the Magna Center in Pneumarket, Ontario, but they were actually excluded by their opponents who have a lot of hockey story for their lives.
The rink is just a few minutes away from where McDwid grew up, and he donated his partner to his partner with him on snow in an oelers jersey.

The fans at the stand could not believe their eyes as they saw McDawid and Drassital playing against loved ones and friends. But Edmonton stars did not have a normal point at night.
In fact, neither the player scored a goal.

Instead, there were clips that went viral on the social media of the goalkeeper of the other team, who were saving some sweet on McDwid’s shots.
Now, it is worth noting that neither NHL all-star was skating at full speed and trying to do his patent aggressive wizardry on ice. However, he allegedly found himself 4–0 after the first period and eventually lost the game 6–2.
On-Ice officials were reportedly given notice in the rink that the oilers were going to play, Per TSN,

Macadvid Talked with ESPNThose who said that this was not the first time to jump on ice in this league, which he used to play during his junior hockey days. In fact, in 2023, he fell to play in the championship game against a team, which splung Quinton Bifield on his bench to Los Angeles King Star.
McDaid told ESPN, “This is a league that I played with my friends for more than 10 years.” “When I used to play junior hockey, we joined the league. I was a little surprised to see it blowing. I have been playing in those games for more than a decade now. So, it’s very fun that it just came.”
Perhaps McDavid and Drassital required some good vibes with local players after another loss to Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup final.
They will try once again during the 2025-26 season to protect the title of their Western Conference, and hope that they can pick up the cup of Lord Stanley instead of going home empty-handed.
