New Delhi: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) on Tuesday issued a special module on Operation Sindoor for students from class 3 to 12, reported news agency PTI.The description of Operation Sindoor in the module is “not only a military campaign but is promised to protect peace and respect the lost life.”It has been further stated that Pakistan publicly refused to participate in the Pahalgam terror attack, “the strike was directly ordered by its military and political leadership.”Sources in NCERT had earlier stated that the material is designed in a simplified, age-appropriate style, together to weave historical reference, India’s military achievements and the future aspirations of the country.On 7 May, India launched Operation Sindoor, which was a massive military operation targeting deep terrorist infrastructure within Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).The strike was a direct response to the terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, claiming 26 innocent lives.The Indian armed forces launched an accurate strike at nine terrorist launchpad across Pakistan, including Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahwalpur and major hubs associated with Lashkar-e-Tabiba in Muridke. Strike also destroyed major Pakistani military facilities including Noor Khan Airbase and Rahim Yar Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, which led to a significant increase in India’s anti -terrorism response.
