The victim was recognized as a BA student of the second year of a government college living in a girls hostel, discovered by a passerby on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said on Wednesday that a woman college student was partially found in an area with a woman college student.
The victim was identified as a BA student of the second year of a government college, who was living in the girls’ hostels, on Tuesday afternoon by a passerby, he said.
The police suspect that he was “killed and then set fire.”
A senior official said that preliminary investigation indicated that the woman was in a relationship that had ended recently.
He said, “Angered over the breakup, the ex -boyfriend allegedly killed him,” he said.
The student presented a holiday paper to his hostel on 14 August and did not return. Her mobile phone was discontinued, and she did not find out, motivated her parents to file a complaint with a missing person.
“A case has been registered, and his ex -boyfriend has been taken into custody for questioning. The legal action will be followed on the basis of investigation,” police said.
The police are waiting for the post -mortem report to determine the exact cause of death and whether the sexual attack occurred.
