Cotton
The steamer handled the cotton shirt and trouser very well every day, but only on ‘Max’ mode. It softened the cloth and released most wrinkles in one or two nearby. Satin
Like silk, satin benefited from Eco mode, but required a stable hand. The steam effectively loosening the wrinkles, but you have to pursue the steamer at all times to avoid making temporary moist patch. Once dry, however, the clothes looked smooth and fresh, the perfect to wear opportunities.
Denim
On Max Mode, the Philips Apparel Steamer succeeded in softening and releasing wrinkles with denim jeans, leaving a regular iron without rigor. However, the thick denim, like a jacket, took more time and steam to make it completely smooth.
Heavy cloth (coat/pants)
For coat and sewn pants, the steamer did a good job of refreshing and loosening wrinkles. This is great for the touch-up of the middle-week, but to achieve a sharp crease or restore a freshly suppressed look, I think the traditional steam iron still has the upper hand.
Curtain
This was one of my favorite uses. I could steam them, when they hanged, saving the time and attempt to take them down. It works evenly well on light weddings and heavy grapes, causing them to visually polish over and more polished in minutes.
Noise level and use of use
