“Pod Save America” hosts John Lawate, who served as a speech writer for former President Barack Obama, said on Monday that voters did not know what the Democratic party is – a problem that he argued that he was preventing him from redeeming Donald Trump’s weaknesses.
Talking with MSNBC Host Nicole Wallace on him podcast “The best people,” lavate argued that the biggest challenge before the Democrats is to whom they stand, and suggested that primary will not only shape the direction of the party, but will also show voters what the party really represents.
“There will be a debate in the upcoming primary, not only the way we find out where we want to go, but the debate will be educational for themselves what the Democratic Party is,” Livet said. “How do we find out what we stand for.”

Lavate and his “Pod Save America” co-Majanban recently called Hunter Biden Obama White House officials and other Democratic leaders a year ago to push his father out of the 2024 presidential race.
The former president’s son specifically targeted the “pod Save America” hosts, calling him “Junior F-ING Speech Writers”, who is cashing on his association with former President Obama.
The hosts responded during the July 1 episode of their podcast and insisted that Biden had no right to criticize.
