Aasin, a suspected custody after setting fire outside a target store in Austin, Texas, died, three people died, the Austin Police Department confirmed on Monday afternoon.
Police said that at around 2:15 pm local time, officials responded to a shooting report on the target located at 8601 Research Bulleward in North Austin. Police said three victims were found in the store parking after setting fire to the suspect.
According to officials, two of the victims died at the scene, while the third died after being taken to a hospital.
Investigators said that the suspect then stole a car and ran away, crashed the vehicle shortly after. He allegedly kidnapped another car and flew again. Police chief Lisa Davis said that the authorities used a tasar to detain the suspect in South Austin.
The suspect was described as a 32 -year -old white man with a history of criminal records and mental health issues.
The road is closed as the investigation continues.
