Before Motherwell found her late equalizer, former Rangers Midfielder Derek Ferguson expressed deep concern about the outlook of her old side.
“Nothing is coming from Rangers at this time; it is quite worrying,” he said on BBC Sportsound. “I have not found any clue what their strategy is. I don’t see it.”
Motherwell, after networked more than meritted to the leveler, Ferguson said: “I have a real concern after seeing that second half. They still have a lot to prove the players in support of that rangers.”
Speaking on Sky Sports, Eret Ranger Striker Krrish Boyd said: “These are the same things that happen after time.
“This is in the beginning of the season. We know the players are going to come. We know the players are going out. But the worrying thing is that he is calling them out so soon.”
Despite agreeing with Martin, former Celtic Forward Chris Sutton also said to Ranger Boss’s comments, “Comment was extreme”.
On Sky Sports, he said, “To do the first game of the season for him, he sees her every day in training, he feels that they are ranked.”
“Because there will not be a little more balance? When you have ever seen a manager doing the first game of the season? It was extreme as extreme.”
