Reform UK councilor Amanda Claire refused to attack a security guard in a proud incident earlier this year.
The councilor, who represents Vinsford Denne at the Cheshire West and Chester Council, was arrested on 28 June at the city’s LGBTQ+ event.
54 -year -old from Malpas, on appearing in the Chester Magistrate Court, the security guard found guilty of attacking Richard Welsh and not being guilty of damaging his camera.
The councilor told the court that he had acted in self -defense. Last month, she was suspended from her job working for Runcorn and Halesbi Reform MP Sara Pochin.
In a statement, a spokesman from Ms. Pochin said: “On June 29, we were made aware of the serious allegations involving a member of the employees.
“He was immediately suspended from his position pending the result of the investigation.
“We conduct a zero-assessment policy for any suggestion of disorganized or inappropriate conduct.
“While we fully respect the fixed process and the right to hear hearing, it would not be appropriate for a person to continue in our role at this time.”
‘A disturbance’
Claire was a member of the Labor Party, when she was first selected in Vinsford Denne Ward in 2019, but was left to join the Socialist Labor Party in March 2022.
She then became a member of the party’s party before joining the Vinsford Salt of Prithvi Party, eventually settled as an independent in July 2024.
She joined the UK reforms in March this year.
Cheshire Constabulary said it was called to report “Disturbance” at the Winsford Pride Event on 16.30 BST on 28 June.
A statement of the Cheshire Police and Crown Prosecution Service states: “We would like to remind everyone that criminal proceedings against Clare are live and have a fair testing right.
“It is extremely important that it should not be online to share information, comments or information online that can bias the ongoing proceedings in any way.”
Judge John McGarwa gave Claire Bail on the basis that she does not contact Mr. Richard Welsh.
The case has been postponed by December, and will be heard in the Chester Crown Court.
