Rod Taylor, former co-chairman of Morekambay, says he is frightened to the existence of the club as long-term acquisition continues.
When the EFL approved its acquisition in June, the Chinrat saw the Punjab Warriors Group ready to be purchased.
However, through this deal, however, the board of directors threatened to put the club into administration and later resigned, with owner Jason Whitingam again opted to sell a separate party to the club in the “last minute deal”, which is still yet to be done.
Morecambe has been scheduled to launch a 2025-26 National League campaign against Boston on 9 August, but in a summer away from the ground, including incomplete salary payments from June parole to employees and the remaining part of sports and coaching staff prepared the pre-season.
Taylor told BBC Radio Lancashire, “This is very serious. This is important. We are now correct in its last neck. You don’t know where to go ahead.”
“We are all we can do as a former officer, we can’t play any role beyond that. We are right that we cannot be a club at this time next week.
“I think it can be equally serious.
“I am afraid. As we stand today, I am afraid of the existence of the club. I hope and pray that he [Whittingham] Looks at understanding and signs the papers. ,
BBC Radio Lancashire contacted Whitingam for comment.
