New Delhi: Indian Railways has launched its longest freight train, ‘Rudrasra,’, which is about 4.5 kilometers.Formed by connecting six standard-length rakes, the train consisted of 354 wagons and was operated by seven locomotives. It traveled from Ganjkhwaja to Garhwa Road, which covers the 200 km route at an average speed of 40 km/h.Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav shared a video of the train on X.
