The person who was suspected of driving a vehicle leaving two Saint Cloud men earlier this month also died.
St. Cloud Police said on Monday that 26-year-old Christopher Cortage Johnson-Sen died of injuries on July 16, 2 July during an accident. He was earlier in critical condition for his injuries.
The accident occurred on 1300 blocks in the 10th Avenue North, where a passenger vehicle was tied by a truck. The two people in the passenger car were earlier recognized by the police as 59-year-old Suleman Mohammad Abdi-Driver-and 45-year-old Craig Arthur Henen.
According to police, Johnson-Sen’s blood alcohol material level was .309 at the time of the accident, about four times the legal limit.
Police say an officer tried to accelerate the driver and pull the truck with headlights at around 11:45 am on 1100 blocks of 8th Avenue North.
However, the driver flew after throwing an item – later determined to have a gun – out of a window. The vehicle was out of sight by the time when the officer tried to pull him.
