Florida Sen Rick Scott on Saturday flew an aerial advertisement in the sky of New York City, in which the residents were encouraged to move to the state of Sunshine to avoid socialism, should Zoharan Mamdani become the mayor of Big Apple.

It is just an old, barbaric, infamous idea that has failed every time. It has been attempted. Just look at Cuba and Venezuela and many families that ran away to live in Florida.”
Scott said that during his time in the political office, he worked to ensure that families in Florida could achieve American dreams, including good jobs, education and safe communities.
