Seven people have been accused of murder after stabbing a man in Osbury.
The victim, who has now been nominated by the police as 36 -year -old Shahamas Hussain, was attacked on Saturday evening during a disorder at Crow Nest Park from Hekmandwaik Road in Osbury Moore area of the city.
Paramedics and an air ambulance participated but Mr. Hussain was declared dead after some time.
West Yorkshire police said that men between 18 and 32 years of age will appear before the Leeds Magistrate Court on Thursday.
All men of Duusabari were named as:
- 21 -year -old Sakalain Ali of Pilgrim Drive
- 31 -year -old Basit Ali of Pilgrim Drive
- 32 -year -old Sekab Khan of Pilgrim Drive
- 20 -year -old Asim Akram of Pilgrim Crescent
- 18 -year -old Faizan Akram of Pilgrim Crescent
- 18 -year -old Zeeshan Khan of Pilgrim Crescent
- 23 -year -old Asif Azeem of Groves Hall Road
The 44 -year -old man arrested earlier in the week has been released under investigation, while a 23 -year -old man has been released on police bail.
The officials urged anyone to come forward for information.
