A person who posted his own videos on social media, was caught riding a motorcycle at about 100mph, banning driving and imposing fine.
Holgate Drive, 22 -year -old Benjamin men of Shreyusbari shared videos of their bike riding in County on Instagram, where – with wheels and risky overtakes – they were discovered after the material went viral by the West Mercia police.
The male tried to hide his identity – and tagged the location in the form of Mexico – but was clearly recognizable in local sites and British rural areas and the police were able to identify them. He was accused of five cases of dangerous driving.
He accepted all the allegations in the Telford Magistrate Court last month and was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered an extended test at the end of the period.
He was also asked to do a 240 -hour unpaid work, ordered a rehabilitation order, and fined £ 199.
Footage filmed in Shrewsbury and WEM areas and posted online in April, came to the attention of the authorities after seeing more than a million times.
After the court hearing, PC Jack Jackson said: “Footage in this case was uploaded by men on Instagram, showing a terrible disregard for road safety.”
He said that the punishment should serve as a “clear warning” that social media is not a shield from the prosecution, there were many means to identify people online to connect the police.
PC Jackson said: “The dangerous ride not just risk the rider, it endanger innocent road users and affects others to mimic careless behavior.”
