Reform UK has added six new members to the party’s decision -making boards, including Greater Lincolnshire Mayor Dame Andrea Jenkins and former president Zia Yusuf.
Three members of the board, Gaven Towler, Darren Grims and Dan Barker were selected in a vote by party membership with a vote of 67,255.
A former UKIP member of the European Parliament, Dame Andrea, Joseph and Paul Nutol were selected to join the board by reform UK leader Nigel Faraj.
Reform UK president David Bull said that the board election was a “important milestone” that continued the party’s democratization “.
Bull said in a message to the party members, “I am very grateful to all my magnificent candidates – you have made our party proud.”
Reform UK stated that 17 candidates were dying for a place on the board, which he described as the “party’s most important decision -making body”.
The construction reform of a board is written in the UK constitution, which was adopted at the party’s conference in Birmingham last year.
Reform UK was established as a private limited company, with most shares of most shares.
But last year, the Reform UK stated that it would be overhala how it was run and members were more called on decisions, as part of a drive to make the party democratic and professional.
The Constitution says that the powers of the board include managing the money of the party, advising the leader on political matters and approving policies and manifestations.
Board members also play a role in the supervision of the party’s disciplinary processes.
Towler, who was dismissed as the Director of Communications of the party last year, thanked all the members participating in the board election.
In a post, he wrote: “Now we have to crack and provide hard work that will take this great movement forward and upwards.”
A former conservative candidate for the Greater Manchester mayor, Barker, convicted the UK improving last year, alleging “defeat honor” in the north of England.
On X, he said that the board’s election was “actually a historic moment”.
“The work begins here,” said Barker. “This board has the responsibility of laying the foundation for victory: to prepare, to organize, and to ensure that we are ready to withdraw control of our great nation after decades.”
Barker and other five new members join Faraj and Bull, who were already members of the board.
But Ben Habib, a prior reform of the UK Deputy Leader, who left the party last year, cited differences with Faraj, saying, the board of directors said to act as a check on the leadership and argued that none of the elected people were independent of Faraj.
“The entire board is therefore under Faraj’s control,” said Habib. “There are no checks and balance within the improvement.”
At the grassroots level, the elements of membership have been disqualified about the candidates and the party’s rule.
Reform UK says it has 234,642 members and hundreds of local branches across the country.
The party has four Westminster MPs and has won 10 councils in the May local elections. It is currently a pioneer in National Honor Surveys.
