New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Rajya Sabha on Operation Sindoor on Wednesday, confirming the position of the Center on his response after the Pahgam terror attack. He underlined the decisive tasks of the government, which included diplomatic moves such as the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and the launch of Operation Sindoor, as part of a clear and firm message against terrorism.Responding to the opposition nonsense and repeated claims by US President Donald Trump that the United States strongly intercepted a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Jayashankar strongly denied any such participation. He said, “22 April SE till 16 June, a BHI phone call took place between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi.”
