Political leaders of Tamil Nadu criticized actor Vijay for their comments at their conference, vowen to respond in the 2026 elections amid the rise of his party.
Representatives of major political parties in Tamil Nadu on Friday criticized actor-political victory for criticizing him at his second state conference in Madurai, which was held on Thursday.
Municipal administration minister KN Nehru said, “He has stayed for a lower standard in addressing a long political leader who has been in politics for four decades and is the Chief Minister sitting as ‘uncle’.” “DMK supported by people will give Vijay a suitable answer in the 2026 assembly elections.”
Former governor and BJP leader Tamilisai Soundarajan condemned Vijay for the important of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It seemed that he was giving the film dialogue,” he said. “This was only a one -day film show … I condemn Vijay to call Vijay a Prime Minister when Modi is the master Prime Minister who loves the whole world.”
AIADMK came out in Vijay for criticizing his alliance with BJP. “Vijay and his TVK 2026 will disappear after the assembly poll,” said Spokesperson C Vagiselvan. “Both national and regional parties clearly know that all of them will have to rally behind the AIADMK to ignore the DMK,” AIADMK said the deputy leader of opposition RB Udayakumar.
Vijay held his second state conference on Thursday amid a huge crowd in Madurai district after starting his party in February to make his debut in the 2026 assembly elections. Vijay attacked Stalin, Modi and AIADMK and said that next year’s election will be a direct fight between his TVK and the ruling DMK.
