BBCA 16 -year -old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and rape after the death of a 13 -year -old girl in Hudersfield.
Police were called by an ambulance service for a flat on Shiprij Road after 23:30 BST on Monday to be said to be non -responsible for the girl. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died in the early hours of Tuesday.
West Yorkshire police said that the boy arrested from Hudersfield is in custody.
He was also arrested on suspicion of rape related to a 16 -year -old girl, which was from a separate incident in Kirkles.
A post -mortem examination conducted on Wednesday found that more investigation was pending for the girl’s death.
Det Ch Isply Stacey Atkinison of the Somicide and Mast Inquichming Team said: “A post -mortem was not able to determine how she died, and we believe her death at this time, more inquiries are pending.
“They are complicated and likely to be long because we work to fully understand the conditions of the girl’s death.
“Specially trained officers are currently supporting their family.”
