A sick sailor has completed his single journey around the British islands, which became the first handicapped person to fulfill the tricks without any support.
Jazz Turner, an engineer from the East Sussex, returned to Briton Marina this afternoon at 12.30 BST, exactly four weeks after closing on June 2.
On completing the course, Ms. Turner told the BBC South East: “This is a journey of a trip and I am very grateful to all because I could not do it alone, it can be a single journey, but it is a small army.”
She was surrounded in huge waves, heavy winds and even Fokstone, Kent before completing the journey of 2,070 miles (3,331 km).
The 26 -year -old life with Ehlars Danlos syndrome, a weak genetic position affects connective tissue, but did not prevent him from raising £ 45,000 for donations.
“The best point was scoring the northern most of Scotland’s northern and simply shouting because I didn’t think I would find that far, so it was a little scuffle to plot the other leg,” he said.
His parents Chris and Caroline Turner stated that he was “incredibly proud but very tired”.
Mr. Turner said: “I think the worst part for him was Thunder and Lightning, as well as 35 not (40MPH) winds in Scotland and Falmouth.
“He is a non-stop for too much four weeks.”
Ms. Turner, a full -time wheelchair user, completed his journey without any support, so on Sunday morning, focusone had to use her anchor and spring tide to get off the rocks in Fokstone.
She is using her 27 feet (8 m) boat called single, non-stop and unseen navigation and said that the journey was many times physically exhausted, but it seems that it seems “unreal”.
“A lot of imagination and help with a large army and although you may have to do things differently, but if you can dream of it, you can actually do so,” he said.
Ms. Turner was diagnosed with Ehlars Danlos syndrome, which causes unconsciousness and seizures at the age of 18.
Due to complications, doctors have told him that his condition is now terminal.
She originally expected to complete the journey in four to eight weeks. Ms. Turner has raised more than £ 45,000 for her charity celebrity, which helps people disabled reach sailing.
