The US electric car manufacturer Tesla is set to expand its presence in India with the launch of a new experience center in Delhi on Monday. After opening an experience center at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, it marks the company’s second experience center in India.
The new open experience center in Delhi is located in Worldmark 3 in the Arocity region of the national capital. This will provide visitors an opportunity to detect Tesla’s electric vehicles introduced in India.
Tesla first wrote in a post on X that on August 11, the experience center was informed at 2 pm.
On 15 July, Tesla entered the Indian automobile market with its electric midsize SUV, Tesla model Y, which costs about Rs. 60 lakhs. Tesla’s model Y is the only model available in the Indian market. This model is introduced in two variants, rear-wheel drives, which is priced 60 million, and long range rear-wheel drive, which costs 68 lakhs.

Additionally, customers can also choose Tesla’s full self-driving (FSD) package that adds 6 lakhs at the top of the base price.
The model Y has been introduced in six colors, of which Stealth Gray is being offered the only color without any additional fee, while other colors, including pearl white multi-kot, diamond black, ultra red, Quicksilver and Glacier Blue, come at an additional cost. Color options for interior design include white and black themes.
Of the two variants, the long range rear wheel drive variants claim more sufficient range of 622 km. This model has a capacity to reach 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.6 seconds. It also has supercharging capabilities, which provides a limit of 267 km within the same 15 -minute time limit. The vehicle also has eight external cameras, including a new front-facing camera, which supports its driver-assistance system.

Delivery and registrations are available only for Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram, listed on the company’s official portal. Pricing may also vary depending on the state and its taxes. Tesla model Y is expected to start in the third quarter of 2025.
