California village. Gavin Newsom is demanding that President Donald Trump left a GOP -led redistribution push after a Democratic Walkout in Texas, which blocked the vote in the loan star state on the Republican attempt to resume the Congress map.
The Democratic Governor warned the risks of biased fighting to spirals in a national redistribution “arms race” and urged Trump to “stand down”.

Newsom’s Hyperbolic, Trump-Mimicing Tone suggested that California would be taking vengeance in the ongoing redistribution battle until red states like Texas end their biased map plans.
The governor looked double the comments on X from Monday in which he Posted a video With caption:
“Donald Trump: This is time to call Greg Abbott and ask him to stand down. You are not ‘entitled’ for 5 Congress seats. If you do not close your lapdogs, the CA will not work quickly and fast. We will not go to the ballot. We will go to whatever benefits we will go to the fire.

California began a redistribution fight to ‘zero’ for the Texas GOP scheme with Dames designed to achieve 5 seats.
The Post coincided with a letter to Trump from Monday, alleging “Fire with Fire”.
The governor said that he is ready to do that to deal with any profit that Republican can get through efforts in Texas.
Newsom told Trump in the letter, “You are playing with fire, endangering the instability of our democracy, knowing that California can neutralize any benefit you have made.”
“This effort to keep the Congress map in power before casting a single vote in the 2026 elections in the 2026 election is an opposition for American democracy.”

Newsom said that he was in favor of abandoning the decision of independent commissions, and if other states followed the suit in an attempt to redistribute it would stand “happily”.

The threat of the newsom can mark a dramatic reversal of California’s voter-infinite independent redistribution process and potentially requires legislative action or even a statewide voting measure.
Although this is only as a political opposition, the move has instigated the debate between the Democrats and the Republican whether the party has risked the right map to renounce its moral high base.
