Thinking said that Thailand “violated the regional integrity of Cambodia”.
Some parts of the two Cambodian provinces were fired by the Thai Army, former leader Hun Sen said on Facebook, while urging people to panic.
Prime Minister Hun Manet said on Facebook, “Cambodia has always maintained a desire to resolve the issues peacefully, but in this case we have no choice but to respond with the armed force against armed aggression.”
Thailand’s acting premiere Fummitham Vichayachai said its dispute with Cambodia remains “delicate” and should be addressed with care and in line with international law.
The day after Thailand was a day after a day of remembering his ambassador in Cambodia, a day after a landmine exploded, who injured a Thai soldier along the border.
On Wednesday, Bangkok also said that it would expel the Cambodia ambassador.
