The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) won a major legal victory on Tuesday.
A federal appeal court has ruled that Dogi has used some potentially sensitive data on Americans – education, from the departments of Treasury and from Personnel Management Office.
A panel of judges of the 4th Circuit US Court of Appeal picked up an initial prohibition, which temporarily blocked the reach citing confidentiality concerns. Computerized data may include social security numbers and access to immigration and citizenship conditions. The matter will be prosecuted for merit, but for now it is a legal victory for the Trump administration.
