Police investigating a serious attack on a woman have found the body of a man in a sports park.
Officers were called to Nabarn village near York after reports of an attack on around 17:50 BST on Monday.
The woman was rushed to the hospital by air ambulance. A suspect discovered officers in a nearby park, where the man’s body was discovered.
A spokesman for the force said that the officers were not looking for anyone else regarding the death of the man.
The spokesperson said, “We realize that the events in the Nabarn may have caused shock and concern in the village. However, the officials believe that the broader communities were not at risk and the two sides involved in the incident knew each other,” the spokesman said.
The members of the public were thanked for supporting the attack and helping at the scene.
The police are asking the residents to report the philosophy of the “beige-color” whipat, who survived the property during the incident.
