An investigation into the murder has been started after a three -year -old girl was found dead in a house in Leeds.
West Yorkshire police said they received a report of concern for the safety of a small child on about 11:05 BST on Wednesday.
Authorities participated in a address on the Austthorpe Court in Coleton and the body of the girl was found inside.
A woman was rushed to the hospital in the property and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Det Ch Isply Stacey Atkinson said: “We are considering it as a separate event and not looking for anyone else in relation to it.
“I think such a tragic incident will cause shockwaves in the local community and will be speculated about what has happened.”
The police asked anyone to come in contact.
Neighbors living on a quiet bridge-day-sack near Coleton Retail Park told about their shock after the death of the girl.
The residents said that emergency services were called on their road on Wednesday, but many were now learning what happened.
Donald Anderson, who has been on the Austthorpe Court for 15 years, said he was “fully enraged”.
“This is a cool small road,” said 94 -year -old retired design draftsman.
“We never have such a problem.”
Mr. Anderson remembered seeing the girl pushing a toy walker along the road.
His death was “a terrible situation,” he said.
Another pair of retirement living on the Austthorpe Court said that if they pass each other, the young man will stroke his dog.
“It’s terrible,” one of them said the news.
The house where the girl was found remained under the police guard on Thursday.
A direct neighbor, Margaret, said that her daughter had seen the curtain in the house was released on Monday.
She said that she was “frightened” from the girl’s death.
