The iPhone users using Truecaller will soon lose access to call recording. Here’s why the facility is ending and what you can do next.
Truecaller will stop supporting your call recording feature on iPhones starting on 30 September. The Caller ID app, which re -presented this option on both Android and iOS platforms about two years ago, has decided to remove it for iOS devices.
The company is focusing on strengthening its main offerings, including real -time spam through live collar ID and automated blocking of unwanted calls. Product Director Nacul Kabra confirmed the update for iOS in Truecaller, saying that the step aligns with efforts to increase the spam protection tool of the app.

Call recording facility to remove only iOS
According to the Techcrunch report, the call recording tool will be inaccessible on iPhones from the declared deadline. IOS users who have recording stored within the Truecaller app will lose access to them even after this date. To prepare, the company advises users to either download their saved recording, share them via messaging platforms, or transfer their storage preference to iCloud.
This step not only affects the ability to record calls, but also reaches the recording saved within the app. After September 30, the users will no longer be able to recover or hear already stored recording until they return them.
